Equipment

  • High-power blender or food processor
  • Silicone spatula
  • Piping bag (for swirl effect)
  • Measuring cups
  • Serving bowls

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 1 2 tbsp maple syrup or agave optional
  • 1 tsp lemon juice optional
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract optional

Instructions

  • Add Ingredients to Blender: Add frozen pineapple, coconut milk, pineapple juice, and any optional sweetener or flavor enhancers to a high-powered blender or food processor.
  • Blend Until Creamy: Blend on high, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. Continue until the mixture becomes smooth, thick, and soft-serve-like.
  • Create That Signature Swirl: For the classic Dole Whip look, transfer the mixture into a piping bag with a star or round tip and swirl into bowls. Or simply scoop and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use fully frozen pineapple for the thickest, soft-serve texture.
  • Start with less liquid and add only as needed.
  • For a firmer consistency, freeze the mixture for 15–20 minutes before serving.
  • Sweetener is optional pineapple often provides enough natural sweetness.
  • For the classic swirl, pipe the mixture through a large star or round piping tip.
