Ingredients
  

  • 1 box vanilla cupcake mix
  • Ingredients required for cupcake mix usually eggs, oil, water
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup maple buttercream frosting
  • 6 slices crispy cooked bacon crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to the temperature listed on your cupcake mix box. Line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  • Make the batter according to the box instructions. Then stir in the maple syrup and brown sugar until evenly combined.
  • Fill the cupcake liners 2/3 full with the batter and bake as directed (usually 18–22 minutes). Let cupcakes cool completely.
  • Frost the cooled cupcakes with maple buttercream frosting.
  • Top with crumbled bacon just before serving.

Notes

Use real maple syrup for best flavor. Top with bacon right before serving to keep it crispy.
