Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tbsp garlic butter melted butter mixed with minced garlic and parsley
  • Extra Parmesan and parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Make the Meatballs: In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, then form into meatballs.
  • Brown the Meatballs: Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet. Brown the meatballs on all sides over medium heat.
  • Add Sauce & Garlic Butter: Pour in marinara sauce and spoon garlic butter over the meatballs.
  • Bake Until Done: Transfer skillet to oven and bake at 375°F, uncovered, until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is bubbling, about 15-20 minutes.
  • Garnish and Serve: Remove from oven, sprinkle with extra Parmesan and parsley, and serve.

Notes

For an even smokier flavor, use a wood pellet grill to cook the skillet instead of the oven.
