Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes optional
  • 12 oz spaghetti broken in half
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Brown the Beef & Aromatics: Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart. Add diced onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add Tomatoes & Seasonings: Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add Spaghetti: Break spaghetti in half and submerge it into the sauce. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Finish & Serve: Stir in Parmesan cheese, let it sit for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh basil.
