Ingredients
  

  • Steak ribeye or sirloin
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your pizza oven to around 650°F to 750°F (343°C to 399°C). This high heat gives your steak a perfect sear.
  • Remove steaks from the fridge 30-45 minutes before cooking.
  • Coat with olive oil and season liberally with salt and pepper.
  • Add optional herbs or garlic if desired for extra flavor.
  • Place a cast iron pan in the oven for about 15 minutes until very hot.
  • Add the steaks and cook for about 2-4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness.
  • Remove from the oven and let the steak rest under foil for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  • Resting allows juices to be redistributed, ensuring every bite is flavorful and tender. Enjoy your steak served hot, topped with a pat of butter if desired.
