Dipping platter
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 8 oz whipped topping
- Optional: cinnamon crushed cookies, or caramel for topping
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, and pumpkin pie spice using a hand mixer until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensure everything is evenly incorporated.
Using a spatula, gently fold the whipped topping into the pumpkin mixture. Take your time to combine without overmixing this step keeps the dip light, fluffy, and airy.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld together and gives the dip a slightly firmer, scoopable texture perfect for dipping.
Before serving, transfer the dip to a serving bowl and top with a dusting of cinnamon or a sprinkle of crushed gingersnaps for garnish. Arrange graham crackers, pretzels, and apple slices around the bowl for an inviting presentation
