S'mores Cupcakes

These S'mores Cupcakes feature a graham cracker crust, moist chocolate cake, gooey marshmallow center, and toasted meringue top.

Equipment

  • Muffin tin
  • Cupcake liners
  • Mixing bowls
  • Piping bags
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Kitchen torch

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 box chocolate cupcake mix plus ingredients needed on box
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1 cup meringue frosting

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press 1 tablespoon into the bottom of each cupcake liner.
  • Add Chocolate Batter: Prepare the chocolate cupcake mix according to package instructions. Spoon batter over the graham crust in each liner until 2/3 full.
  • Bake: Bake according to the cupcake mix instructions (usually about 18–22 minutes). Let them cool completely.
  • Fill with Fluff: Using a piping bag or spoon, fill the center of each cooled cupcake with marshmallow fluff.
  • Frost and Toast: Pipe meringue frosting on top. Carefully toast the frosting using a kitchen torch until golden brown.

Notes

Feel free to use homemade meringue or a store-bought version. If you don’t have a torch, a broiler works too briefly!
