Review – When You Unpack Your New Dutch Oven
The 5.5-quart enameled cast-iron Dutch is made from sturdy cast iron construction and is covered with PFOA- and PTFE-free porcelain enamel. Great even heat distribution and the heavy lid keep the moisture and goodness in while cooking.
The Dutch oven is very modern looking and would look great in any kitchen or dinner table.
The enamel color on both the blue and the red is deeper at the bottom of the oven and around the outside of the lid. Then changes color towards the top of the oven and the center of the lid.
The dimensions of the oven are 12 inches x 11.6 inches x 5.5 inches and it weighs 13.1 pounds.
Dutch Oven Uses
Use this oven for baking, braising, sauteing, roasting, just about anything you can think of.
Stews, casseroles, oats, roasts, chili, beans, soups, potatoes, bread, cakes, desserts plus all your favorites.

Any burnt food particles or sticking boil water in the oven for a couple of minutes. Then use silicone, plastic, or wooden scraper to lift the particles off.
Warm hand wash is required in soapy water. Dry thoroughly so the cast iron will not rust when stored.
Do not stack any other cookware on your enamel Dutch oven this helps prevent chipping while in storage.

Which Is Better Cast Iron or Enameled Cast Iron?
To define which is better for you, you need to know where you want to cook with the piece.
Inside only – an enamel cast iron piece would suit.
Outside only – you cannot use enamel cast iron on open fires you will ruin the piece. So it is seasoned cast iron in this case.
Inside and outside – a flat bottomed seasoned cast iron piece will do the job inside and out.
